For the last two weeks I have been stuck in hospital. I actually loved spending my time in hospital despite having pain and tubes in my arms a lot of the time, the reason being that I had the time to read this life changing book “The Normal Christian Life”. It is the deepest book I have ever read on the bible and I will reread it many times till the authority it talks of “in being in Christ” overcomes my religious self effort. I found that it is a profound book because it explains so graphically some of the scriptures I have pondered on for years, knowing there must be great value, but missing it. It is a book for anyone who has spent their life wanting their life to be of value to God but finding that every time they try to do anything they fall so short, or into the depths of sins clutches.

I found a wonderful web page within my church which has some of the most amazing MP3 bible lessons ever. I hope you enjoy them. If you are eager to listen to more I will give you the link.

I found this lovely quote of Watchmann Nee on the hymnal at the English speaking meeting place of the Church in Seoul - Itaewon.
Here it is,
“If God leads you to walk a way that you know. It will not benefit you as much as if He would lead you to take a way that you do not know. This forces you to have hundereds and thousands of conversations with Him, resulting in a journey that is an everlasting memorial between you and Him.” Watchmann Nee
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Grace and peace in Him. Jonathan
